Calacatta stands apart from the other whites with its bold, clearly spaced veining, unlike Carrara's fine, scattered veins. That dramatic veining makes it the first choice for pieces you want to be the centre of the room — a dining table, a carved sink, or a TV-wall feature.
We import Italian Calacatta as part of our collection and make pieces to measure from it, with the veining matched across the parts. Because it is an acid-sensitive white marble, we recommend sealing it periodically and using it in areas less exposed to staining.
