Types of Marble in Riyadh — Your Guide to Choosing

Get to know the most popular natural marbles we work with — colour, veining, origin and best uses — so you can choose the right type for your project before you begin.

Every marble has its own character: the Italian whites (Calacatta and Carrara) for classic luxury, the Spanish beige (Crema Marfil) for warmth and practicality, brown (Emperador) for durability, black (Marquina) for contemporary boldness, and local Omani for price and availability. Choose the type you like below, or see our actual slabs in the collection.

Frequently asked questions about marble types

How many types of marble do you work with?

Seven main types: Calacatta, Carrara, Crema Marfil, Emperador, Nero Marquina, Travertine and Omani marble, plus granite. Slabs are imported directly from Italy, Turkey, Spain, Greece, India, China and Oman.

Which marble suits a kitchen countertop best?

A kitchen surface takes heat and spills, so granite and engineered stone resist stains and scratches better. Light natural marbles like Calacatta and Carrara are chosen for looks, and need more care plus periodic resealing.

What is the difference between natural and synthetic marble?

Natural marble is quarried stone — every slab has veining that never repeats. Synthetic marble is stone particles bound with resin, giving a uniform colour, a lower price and better stain resistance. The choice is unique character versus practical consistency.

Can I see the slab before it is cut?

Yes. Visit the factory in Riyadh and pick your slab in person — veining differs from slab to slab, and we cut from the one you approve. If you cannot come, we send photos of the actual slab on WhatsApp before we start.

How much does marble cost per metre?

It depends on the type, thickness, finish and the size of the job — one type can double in price between an ordinary slab and one with rare veining. Send your measurements on WhatsApp for a quote covering supply and installation, and see our marble price guide for the numbers.
